Munnar - Tea trails

It was just day one and we had already boarded a flight, flew down south, long drive starting with coconut tree views, kerala style lunch, shopping, visited the flower show and then we bumped into this tea estate where we discovered we could just walk in. The green energised us, considering we are surrounded by greys and browns in Mumbai. We both couldn't contain our excitement. Decided to try the timer, I set it, run, check, run back.. and what better place to mount the camera but the road... and then the madness began!!!

Munnar's most memorable visuals for me will be those we saw on the jeep drive up to 'Kolukkumalai tea estate. All shades of green, tiny pathways, narrow rocky roads and the valleys. While most people on other jeeps seemed to be driving to a destination, we were completely absorbed by the journey.
